Alyssa and Kyle are amazing people.  They met by chance but it was no accident that they are together.  They are perfect for each other.  Both happy, easy going, fun and beautiful!  They could totally be a couple who models together.  Alyssa may be a dog trainer who wears cowgirl boots and isn’t afraid to get dirty but she’s got the moves, ha,ha.  When I saw her on her wedding day…well, let’s just say that I’m glad she was in a big white wedding dress because I barely recognized her.  She looked incredible.  Their wedding was at the Point Defiance Rose Garden in Tacoma and to see her surrounded by roses with the sun beaming down on her while she held her dads close as they prepared to walk her down the aisle made me glad I could hide behind a camera because I was tearing up.  This is one of my favorite parts of the wedding. Brandon and I always flip a coin to see who gets to photograph the bride and dad right before they walk.  I always win. I’m not sure if the coin is rigged or not but honestly, I think he avoids it because he would be a wreck seeing the look in the dad’s eyes as he gives his little girl away.  I feel honored to be able to see this part of a person’s life.  It’s rare.  It’s private. It’s my job to capture those looks of endearment without invading their space and without melting in a puddle of tears so that they can share these memories with their loved ones who weren’t there up close during that sweet moment.

Ok, back to Alyssa and Kyle.  I have to chuckle when I see the photo of Kyle that we posted here.  When we took this photo he totally rocked it.  Part of being a good model is being a good actor.  We asked him for a straight face and *bam* just like that his military training kicked in and he was dead serious.  And with the dim lighting casting a shadow over part of his face and nobody else around that time of night he looked scary…well, handsome but tough!  Brandon and I both said, “woah!” and jumped back an inch.  Yes, it’s just Kyle, the super nice guy we know but man does he have a tough guy look.  I’m sure it comes in helpful in his line of work.  The photo posted above is his little bit softer side…didn’t want to scare you because Alyssa may have the moves but he has the look. 1f609

We are so glad to know Alyssa and Kyle.  They’re going to have an incredible future together full of amazing adventures!
