Where in the world would your dream wedding be?
We’ve been to The Big Island of Hawaii-Kona, Holualoa Hawaii, Bend Oregon, Phoenix Arizona, San Diego California, Napa Valley California, San Francisco California with our wedding photography. We are looking forward this year to weddings in Nashville Tennessee and Oahu Hawaii. It’s amazing all of the adventures we are lucky enough to experience thanks to photography. This life is truly full of surprises. We look forward to many more adventures to come.

We got married in beautiful downtown Monroe, Washington in a sweet little catholic church. 
I really love Sonoma, California though for weddings or maybe I’d choose Vail in the snow!

Herkimer Diamond…Happy Monday!
This beauty is called the Herkimer Diamond. I love how unique, simple and raw each one is, an uncut natural look. Wouldn’t this be great as an engagement ring or wedding or even anniversary ring! No special occasion needed. I’m sure any girl would take one for a “Happy Monday” gift or “Thanks for pouring such a tasty bowl of cereal for me” gift.
Brenna and James Wedding
Brenna and James are truly nature lovers and it really showed in their wedding details. Their wedding ceremony was, of course outdoors, with a sweeping view of the Puget Sound. Vast blue waters with a sky to match, it was the perfect day! For this special occasion nature was in attendance, little birds were all around, an eagle flew overhead and a yellow butterfly to match her wedding colors made an appearance. There were even two deer in attendance only 40 feet away. They stayed for the whole ceremony. I wanted to jump and wave to the bride and groom and say, “Hey, look! Isn’t that amazing?!” but I somehow managed to remain quiet until afterwards when I declared Brenna a distant relative of Snow White!
Brenna is quite elegant and James adores her. They’re both really smart not to mention beautiful! He twirled her in a dance on their own private artistic brick circle in the middle of a huge open field surrounded by tall oak and fir trees with a peek-a-boo view of the Sound. Both of them and their surrounding were breathtaking. They were so happy to be married and excited to have photos of every bit of the day…a perfect match for us!
they played the Shoe-ley-wed game where the DJ asks them questions and they answer by raising the shoe of the person they think fits the question best but they’re back to back so neither sees the other ones answers. The guests were all cracking up. It was video recorded though. James covered his own back though by answering with both shoes up to some questions. (I told you he was smart.) 
It’s a dangerous game when the DJ asks things like, “Who’s most likely to steal the last cookie from the cookie jar” or “Who’s most likely to be caught speeding”.
The peanut butter and jelly cupcakes were delicious. The vegan food was delish! Everyone enjoyed the sun and everywhere I turned people were smiling, joking and hugging.
The day was perfect.

Hello there! We met at the wedding expo at the Tacoma Dome, and were very impressed by your work and your friendly yet laid back attitudes. We are the ones who have a maid of honor who is also a professional photographer, and will need a full-event photographer who will be happy to work with another person (maybe you remember us?). C. Don’t worry much about lighting. The twinkle in her eye reflects all the fun they’re having!
Oh the sights you will see!
We played tourist along Fisherman’s Warf. The smell of steam billowing from the row of fresh seafood stands mixed with the sea air, warm sun, crowds of tourists speaking every language and the music from peddlers on the street was all incredible! Sensory overload and I loved it all! It’s a far cry from our smaller, very grey less touristy Seattle which I love but San Francisco was a great escape!
Photography Yoga in the Palace of Fine Arts Theatre
Breath taking. The light was amazing. We had perfect timing. Here’s Brandon setting up the shot. The final photo is full of even more dazzling color, vivid blue and gold. I can’t wait to share it here! It’s totally worth me climbing on a ledge, Emily and Matt contorting into twisty poses, Brandon standing on his head (aka Photography Yoga) and all of us starting to freeze in the chilly wind. Good team work everyone!

I had the wonderful experience of photographing the Hildebrands of Hildebrand Photography! My name is Jolie Zener and I’m excited to be one of their interns for the next few months. Dawn and Brandon are patient teachers and know how to run a successful photography business. I feel blessed working beside them and gaining knowledge in this exciting field. I was surprised to hear Heritage Hall was the original location of their engagement photo session! I thought that was very special! Congratulations to you both, and thank you for this fun experience!

Intercontinental Hotel
When our clients, Emily and Matt, delivered us to our hotel our first night here Matt drove up and parked and said, “This us your hotel, right?”
I said no. Much to my surprise Brandon said yes.
I smiled, hopped out of the car and thought how lucky I am to have a man who never ceases to amaze me.
We have the best clients ever
Emily and Matt not only greeted us at the airport but also gave us this fabulous welcoming gift! It’s the famous La Boulange bread and a variety of delectable cheeses and granola and excellent vino! We feel so French! 
What a great start to our adventure!
